EKKLESIA ... CHURCH RE-DISCOVERED

The greatest shift we need to see in this hour is FROM "church", BACK TO "Ekklesia"!

This shift DOES NOT refer to how we "do" church"; it refers to what Jesus actually created The Church to be! Here are some tangible differences we need to see as the Kingdom Ekklesia is being re-established in the earth:

1)  Church is a "pastoral leadership model ". Such leadership is HIGHLY mercy and maintenance driven. Ekklesia, on the other hand, is an "apostolic leadership model"; that is, apostolic 5-fold ministry administrated by doma-gifted apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers who are mantled to equip the saints "to do the work of ministry." (Ephesians 4)

2)  Church is "membership minded", with religious programs at the forefront. Ekklesia is "sonship minded"; that is, identifying and equipping sons in WHO THEY ARE, not just WHAT THEY CAN DO.  Sons function out of "ontology" ... the process of BEING, while members of churches operate more out of "theology" ... the study of religious faith, practice & experience.

Saints who are never taught, thus do not know who they are, fall victim to the orphan spirit. Orphans are bent on doing ... seeking esteem and power through "acts of ministry" they can perform. Consequently, they tend to feel rejected and unapproved of when they are not "do their thing".

3)  Church is all about "gifts and anointings!"  Ekklesia is about character and governance!  In todays' church culture, if a person is gifted and can minister, character is often overlooked. In Kingdom Ekklesia, authenticity & integrity is valued. Even if a son doesn't effectively minister through a gifting, a son remains secure in being a son ... and knowing whose you are!

4)  Church is centered around the "House of The Lord" ... a physical building.  Everything is built around services, programs, attendance, special events, etc! Ekklesia is centered around "The Kingdom" as a habitation of God in the Spirit ... a people being built up as a holy temple in The Lord, and seeing the Body of Christ edified and established, being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone. (Ephesians 2:20-22)

5) Church promotes Christ as being the "Head of The Body", but then they "vote-in" bishops, pastors, or holy fathers to be the overseers of our souls ... the "high priest" of our confessions. In Ekklesia, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors & teachers do not replace Christ as "The Head", they simply bring order & alignment to the sons of God as a kingdom of priests; they reach, teach, train, equip, raise-up, confirm and send-out the saints upon a strong biblical foundation of apostolic/prophetic alignment. (Ephesians 2:20). This brings Kingdom order to The Ekklesia, which is what Jesus Christ prophesied in Matthew 16, Holy Spirit birthed in Acts 2, and the Apostle Paul taught throughout the New Testament!

Indeed, it's time to embrace the shift!
