APOSTLES STILL EXIST
The Christ-appointed apostolic gift TO The Church did not end when the last of the original apostles died … PERIOD! Anyone who believes that, in all probability, belongs to a “church” that is built upon the foundations of men, not God!
EPHESIANS 2:20
The Apostle Paul makes it crystal clear that the authentic New Testament Ekklesia is built upon the foundation of the ministry of apostles & prophets, with Christ Himself as the cornerstone!
Paul did not just preach … he established churches, appointed leaders, corrected error, and guarded The Gospel. That work did not “cease” with history, because the mission did not end; it continues TO THIS DAY!
We kept pastors, but removed builders; we kept gatherings, but lost foundations. And when foundations weaken, confusion increases. The apostolic is not about hierarchy, it’s about alignment. God still sends apostolic voices because Christ is still building His Church.
The early church was not sustained by inspirational messages/teachings alone. It was sustained by structure, correction, and spiritual authority. Apostolic ministry guards truth so the church does not slowly reduce The Gospel into little more than personal preference.
Many modern-day church leadership structures resist apostles, because apostles disturb comfort; they challenge hierarchy; they call for repentance, doctrine, holiness, and obedience. But a church without apostolic order eventually becomes guided by culture instead of Christ.
The Great Commission was not finished in the Book of Acts … so the sending did not stop in the Book of Acts. God is still raising-up builders, not businesses; spiritual fathers, not self-centered celebrities; establishers, not just speakers; holy altars, not performance platforms.
The apostolic has not ceased; the church has just stopped recognizing it!
But don’t be mistaken; don’t be misled … Christ IS still building, and He still sends those who plant, correct, and align that which belongs to Him.
