The victim of a broken home, Kyle Byrd began searching for answers at an early age. Unfortunately, like many of today's teens, the places where Kyle looked were not always the best! Popularity, alcohol, money, the "in" crowd ... such temptations produced a very clouded outlook on life. At the age of 17, however, Kyle met the Author of Life! The influences of a Godly pastor, a prayer-determined mother, and a varsity baseball coach produced results when, as a Jr. in high school, Kyle yielded his life to Jesus Christ.

Athletically gifted, Kyle struggled with a choice between a career in professional baseball or the pursuit of the Lord's calling on his life to minister to young people. Following college, though offered an opportunity within the Texas Rangers baseball organization, Kyle made the choice to step off of the playing field and into the harvest field. Since that time, he has spoken to over 2.5 million people, across 43 of the 50 United States, and into 3 foreign countries.

Kyle Byrd is described as a man of passion ... passion towards reaching and developing young people, and anyone who works with young people, with the message that Jesus Christ is the answer to today's questions in life.

Kyle is married. He and his wife, Robin, live in the Texas Hill Country community of Burnet, TX. They have 3 children ... 2 daughters and a son. Both daughters, Jennifer and Kyla, are married and are currently living in the Houston area. Brandon, the son, recently acknowledged God's call upon his life to join his dad in full-time vocational ministry.  He now serves as a ministry associate within the FLM ministry team, predominantly in the area of worship leadership.  He is the founder and leader of PS 150, the Front Line Ministries worship band.

In 2005, sensing the call on their lives to broaden, even more, the scope of Front Line Ministries, Kyle & Robin planted a church in the Texas Hill Country. Despite starting with only 6 people, no buildings, and no money, Church at The Epicenter stands today as one of the most dynamic, fast-growing churches in the state of Texas. Kyle serves as the founding/lead pastor of the church while, at the same time, continues to administrate the on-going efforts of Front Line Ministries.  Brandon now serves as the worship leader and youth pastor of the church, while continuing to grow in his role with FLM.

Brandon Byrd grew up with Front Line Ministries ... literally!  The ministry was born in November of 1989, and so was Brandon!  His entire life has been spent around the ministry.  Howver, in January of 2011, he became a part OF the ministry!

During a regular night of hanging out with his friends, God chose to descend upon Brandon in a supernatural way.  That night, Brandon's life was changed forever.  He heard the call to become a minister of the Gospel, and he responded with a definitive "YES"!

Having never played the guitar, nor sang in front of a crowd, Brandon found it strange that the Lord would call him to become a worship leader.  But, isn't that how God works?  He calls us to serve Him in a way that we cannot take any credit for what we do!  With a willing spirit, Brandon picked up a guitar for the first time in his life and, just 2 weeks later, he stood before a gathering of young people and led 3 songs of worship ... and the rest is history!

Brandon now serves as the worship leader for the ministry!  Not only does he lead worship solo, he has already assembled an entire band ... PS 150.  Introduced during the morning sessions at Seek Week '11, both Brandon and the band have already made their mark!
